D1 Milano x Harlem Globetrotters marks 100 years of doing things intentionally, in a single design object.
Known as much for how they play as what they achieve, the Harlem Globetrotters have always treated basketball as a form of expression. The way a pass is made, the timing of a movement and the reaction it creates all matter as much as the outcome.
That same thinking is applied here.
The watch takes key elements from the Globetrotters and applies them directly. The original colours are kept as they are. The anniversary logo, designed by the team, is printed in relief and raised on the dial so it has a clear sense of depth. Each detail is considered and placed with intent, because to the Harlem Globetrotters and D1 Milano, style and flair matter.
American basketball heritage, translated through contemporary Italian design.
Built on D1 Milano’s Polycarbon blueprint, the watch is almost impossibly lightweight with a soft-touch finish and slim profile. Monochromatic casing, dial and detailing create a unified form, while anti-reflective glass maintains depth of tone, ensuring the dial reads clearly in different light conditions.
The special-edition 100th anniversary logo sits raised at the centre of the dial, while the hands reflect the team’s original red, white and blue palette.
The packaging was developed specifically for the collaboration, using the Harlem Globetrotters’ visual identity as a reference point. The finish reflects the watch itself, matte and understated.
Inside is a co-branded headband, and a warranty card that provides two years of cover.
